Graveyards,
The passed away pass by
Sometimes just a flash.
Distant hills
Silhouetted, not seen
Even more distant hills,
mountains
Hinted, neither silhouetted nor seen

Clouds, white cottony
Stands of trees,
palm, coconut
Standing tall, one with a
scorched head.
Probably struck by lightning,
Or an idea.
Browned, blackened bodies
Toil, sweaty, glistening….

The dust chokes.
The wind blows.
The train goes…
