Vidya and I met Vijay, for the first time, at the Caferati read-meet and then had dinner together. It was nice, meeting up with someone we had only corresponded with. As is evident from his blog, he turned out to be quite a nice guy with a ready wit. We got a kick out of knowing that his father is a secret agent – even he doesn’t know what he does! We caught dinner at Palki – the food was just okay but the airconditioning was good! After that we had dessert at Snowfield (?) – we got the last empty table, but people kept coming in in droves. They were standing in the aisle guzzling ice cream!
